Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology (LMT50307)
The two year Diploma will give you the technical knowledge while developing your creative design talents to the fullest extent possible. Individual initiative, creativity, independence of thought, vision, artistic judgement as well as communication and presentation skills are developed along with a thorough understanding of the broader fashion environment and the specific needs of various sectors of the industry.
Class sizes are limited so lecturers can work closely with you in a personalised workshop environment.
You will visit a variety of fashion houses where you will meet and observe designers and entrepreneurs at work.
If you want to be a designer, manufacturer, couturier, product developer or establish your own design company, then this course is for you.
On completion of all year one subjects the qualification of Certificate IV in Applied Fashion Design and Technology is issued to students.
On completion of all year two subjects the qualification of Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology is issued to students.
- Completion of all assigments, set tasks and work experience punctually and to the required standard.
- Tests, presentations and examinations as required.
